We started off the year with a bang! January saw Moirae become shortlisted in multiple categories at the prestigious Transform Awards. In February I was honoured to be named in ‘Yorkshire 42 Under 42’ which took me by surprise but made me immensely proud. A few months later in April, we struck

gold and won eight International Design Awards at the Transform Awards in London! Not too bad for the first four months of the year!

This year, we have seen a trio of talented staff come on board and join the Moirae team. Starting in May, we recruited our newest Web Developer, Karl and our Creative Designer, Dan. Both were joined in late October by Alexandria, our new Digital Marketing apprentice. To accommodate our ever growing team, we moved to our brand new office in late November, now occupying a stunning workpod at Fountain Court, on the Doncaster International Business Park.​

Things ramped up towards the end of the year. We launched a huge campaign for South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive, which saw Moirae’s work plastered all around South Yorkshire, appearing on local bus stops and signs. In September we launched the impressive rebrand of Sheffield Arena, transforming it into the Fly DSA Arena, following the sponsorship by one of our clients Doncaster Sheffield Airport.

Towards the end of September and mid-October, we were shortlisted for countless awards, these included: 7 Digital Marketing Awards, 3 Doncaster Business Awards and a global Steelie award for our work with British Steel.

October saw us travel to London and win 7 Digital Impact Awards. And to top it all off, the whole team and I were immensely proud in December when Matt Spiby, our Studio Manager collected runner-up in ‘The Rising Star Of The Year’ category at the Doncaster Business Awards.

2017 has certainly been a very good year and one we hope to build on in 2018. I’d like to take this opportunity to wish all our clients and partners a very Merry Christmas & prosperous 2018!
