Brand Refresh and Photography for Fish Bits

Fish Bits is an award-winning restaurant in Doncaster with a heritage dating back to 1958, when the Xenofontos family first began serving fish and chips in Liverpool.

Now in its third generation, the restaurant has grown far beyond its traditional roots. The brief was to create a photography collection that reflected the full dining experience at Fish Bits.

While widely known for its fish and chips, the restaurant offers a diverse and carefully crafted menu, and the branding and imagery needed to communicate both the quality of the food and the welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant. We developed a vibrant visual style that showcased the flavour, freshness and variety of the dishes while subtly incorporating the restaurant environment to capture the experience of dining there.

A mixture of plated food photography and natural dining scenes helped bring the menu design to life and highlight the energy of the space. The result is a cohesive set of brand assets, from menus to photography, that helps communicate the full Fish Bits experience and attract both new and returning diners. A visual identity designed to showcase flavour, atmosphere and heritage.
