Cast, Doncaster’s theatre, opened in 2013 and welcomes audiences and participants of all ages from across the borough of Doncaster and beyond. Their programme is eclectic, imaginative and takes risks.
Cast wanted a marketing strategy behind driving ticket sales of their annual pantomime and approached us for guidance. In previous years the sales of the pantomime had largely been generated organically, but the client was interested in ways they could be more proactive in their advertising.
With remarketing and display ads, the longer you run a campaign the greater chance you will have of seeing significant results.
First of all we created a stunning identity and title treatment for the pantomime that could be used across all marketing material. Since the goal for this campaign was to increase ticket bookings and awareness of the production, we created a range of display ads to encourage ticket bookings through their online booking systems. We ensured these all had a clear call to action and were targeted carefully at the right audience to optimise the ads for conversions. We also designed a glossy programme to be purchased as a memento from the production!
We ran the adverts over the months leading up to the production itself. We had great feedback from the client about the design work and the results from the ads - the production of Aladdin ultimately was a great success!
