4R Group approached Moirae, as they were looking at expanding their business offering and introducing a new sub brand, "4R Reassurance" to reflect this. However, they were concerned that their existing branding family had already become too disjointed, and needed our guidance. 4R were keen to retain as much of their existing brand identity as possible, so our challenge was creating a new and clear brand architecture system without needing to fully rebrand.
As well as creating a meaningful and effective brand, it's also important to consider the relationship with other brands belonging to the same group or organisation.
We began by conducting a thorough analysis of the existing branding and materials to identify inconsistencies and make informed recommendations to the 4R Group management team. We ultimately decided that the best solution would be to create a new "endorsed" branding architecture system based heavily on the existing parent "4R Group" brand mark, which we refined slightly to compliment the brand's primary typeface, and to work more effectively on a range of different backgrounds. The accompanying sub brands are aimed at slightly different markets and differentiated by colour but clearly belong to the same branding family. To ensure the branding was consistently applied out through marketing materials in the future we created a thorough brand pack with specific examples.
4R Group took on board all our recommendations and have a new branding family that they can apply consistently across different areas of their business. We have continued to work with the management team to roll out the new brand across a number of marketing platforms which includes a new website for "4R Reassurance".
